Default memory seat

I know that our driver seat has memory, i was wondering what allows it to do so and how come the passenger seat don't. I'm trying to make my passenger seat a memory seat too. Is it as easy as switching brackets or sliders or does it require alot of work? Thanks for any help in advance.

If you mean switching out that passenger seat for another driver seat with memory, nope. All of the controls are on the right of the seat and switching sides would require switching sides of the controls which can't be done easily at all. The memory seats are cool but only you get to enjoy it. Screw the passengers, they should be thanking you for just being in your car!

That's the thing i am asking, if the memory seat goes with the seat of it is with the brackets. Of course ik now swaping in another driver seat willl mean the controls are on the other side.

You sure it's just the brackets? It saves the recline position as well..

The sparco milano racing seats are memory...and they have controls on both sides of the seat. So you can use it for drivers or passengers. They are kinda expensive though...like 800 a piece I think.

I thought seat memory was advertised on both seats when I bought the car... I haven't been annoyed enough yet to ask, but that would be good information to have..

Any ideas?

yes it is on both seats, but i noticed on the passenger u gotta push it back, then it goes on "not memoried position" but if u pull the side lever on the seat and push it back all the way, it'll go into the memorized position.

so basically hold the lever and push the seat back as it is going back and it'll go to the right postion

Tried it yesturday with my gbro, and took tons of pic, once uploaded i'll post XD

Isn't the tC available in Japan? So, the JDM driver's seat parts which would be on the right side of the car, should work.

No sorry.. tC is a US only car (for not at least) so no JDM for us...

and I hate the fact that my passenger seat doesn't have it... 99% of the time people get in the back from the passenger side (I'm not getting up) lol

No, it is not on both seats. RTM. If you have to hold a lever and manually put the seat in position, that's not memory.

God I miss the power leather memory seats in my Acura...
