How would I go about wiring seperate Halo lights up so that whenever my headlights were on just the halo's would be on? What wires would I tap into?

 

Can't really tell what your asking.
If you want your halo to run while your headlights are on you just wire them all together into one wire and then tap the positive wire to the headlight bulb.
I can't imagine you'd want your headlight never to come on but thats what is sounds like your saying.
maybe your saying you don't want your parking lights on with your headlight in which case you'd clip the parking light wire from the parking light harness and use that to run your halos.

 

what I am saying is basically what you said. I want just the halo on my fog lights to come on when my headlights are on. I thought it was as simple as tapping the possitive wire on the headlights but apparently it isn't. When I tapped it the halo on the fog light lit up but my car wasn't even turned on

 

Ok heres the plan to get your Halos to come on with your parking/headlights and to make your normal parking light only flash double bright when you signal.

1. cut + wire to parking light about 3" away from bulb and run the long wire to the combined halos + wire. And run - wire from halos to ground or to tap ground wire (middle wire on the parking light harness.
2. Tap the 3" stub from the parking light to the + signal wire.

Cool 2 easy steps.
