i was wondering if anyone else thinks that the tC looks kind of like a "mini" lexus is 300. i mean, rear wheel drive and v6 engine aside and stuff like that, the look and design of the tC just looks kind of like a 2 door is 300ish car to me.

Completely different shape... About the only thing I think that looks similar is the shape of the front lights.

The headlights are shaped very similarly, definitely.

They are similar but the IS300 design dominates the tC in my opinion. Would of gotten it if it was cheaper.

stuff like that is what i was talking about. and the front kind of looks similar, not exact. it looks like they took some of the design cues from the IS. like the fog light area of the IS is similar to that area on the tc, just reversed. that's how that guy was able to fit the IS fogs on his tc.

 

:drool: oh, sorry. here's a pic of the '06 which i think looks more like our cars than the previous model.

 

Didn't see that much similarity between the present IS, but the new IS looks like a 4-door tC. In the side view their lines are similar; especially towards the rear.

but yeah, to credit Kwiksilver's idiotic post , he did say "mini" so if you squish the car, and remove 2 doors, then yea, i guess you can see the similarities...

Finally they update the IS. I was thinking it was gonna go the way of the VW bug and stick with one style. Its been like 5-6 years now.

To me I thought the tC was the new generation toyota paseo.
