Hi,

I bought these bulbs off of ebay but the seller sent me 7443 bulbs instead of the 7440's. However i can "Force the 7443 bulbs into the sockets and make em work. But they get REALLLYYYY HOT and they seem a bit dim.. so my question is, would it be harmful to the wiring to juss modify the 7443 bulb to fit the 7440 socket and toforce it in there.

i would just ask the seller to send me the correct ones. i wouldn't force it in if i were you. good luck in whatever you choose to do

7440 bulbs are the same size as the 7443. i have 7443 LED wedge bulbs and they fit perfectly.

 

i'd say contact the seller and make him send you what you ordered.

 

where's the best place to get it? and what size?

could i get them at autozone?

i always have trouble trying to get them out =(
