It looks like that's the price for it installed is around $5660. Good for a bump up to 147hp at 6400 RPM.

Damn.. need to brush up on my Japanese

IT cost 5500 because you have to "give your car" to TRD for the Tune up.

The kit itself should cost alot less.

At least thats what the site saids.

Is that at the wheels or the crank? I'm guessing crank.

Yea, here's the direct link to the bB/Ist TRD Turbo Kit

http://www.trdparts.jp/parts_trdturbo-complete.html

Seems like when you bring it to TRD, they will give you the whole package run including TRD suspension components, exhaust, pads, and other accessories along with a complete turbo!

Here's the dyno run they did for the bB.

You guys should checkout the link! They have a video on a side by side comparison between a turboed and non turboed Ist and bB.

I like the lip kit on both the xA and xB. Anyone know if those are TRD or Toyota parts?

^^^ Toyota parts. The Ist has the Aero Type II front lip. Not sure about the bB though.

But the ECUs are different. Anyone know for sure if this kit will work on US cars? I guess I could try and find out this weekend.

I will ask about the ECU also, I think there wont be any problem. Also about the clutch and drive shafts. Lately most of their products are compatible here since we are their strongest market outside of the Asia area.
I can't wait to mix it up with some nitrous juice and see it going!!! or maybe gone...

For the novelty factor it's worth it but 5 grand can get you a worked over older mustang with 300+ hp. Just using the mustang as an example, don't everyone get your panties in a bunch.

And it would cost that much (or more) in gas per year if you get an old muscle car as a daily driver.
