Bummer deal man. Id do a search and see who has tanabes and if they've had any noise.

YEAH, I HAVE THE "COIL WRAPS" ON, BUT I'M STILL GETTING AN ANNOYING SOUND. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

You must of forgot to install the rubber insulaters on the ends of the springs. The plastic covers don't do anything. Let me know if thats the problem, I just installed Debris's DF210 s today and no problems.

Take them back apart and check them out. Most aftermarket springs don't come with the plastic end wraps. You should take them off of the stock ones and put them on the new ones.

If it's not that then the springs aren't seated correctly maybe, but from how easy the install is on the rear springs I think it might be a difficult thing to get wrong.

Describe the noise, I dont know which wheels you are running but it is possible for the offset to be causing the noise. (happened to my buddy)

I have the DF210s on my xB and have no problems or strange and scary noises. Mystery noises suck, good luck finding what it is coming from. Happy St. Pattys Day.

Mine are making a squeeking noise. I only notice it when I get in or out of the car. I tried to spray some lube on the rubber bushing. No change. It just started after about 1000 miles.

make sure the side of the spring is not touching the lower coil pocket. you have to be carefull when installing the rear springs to make sure they dont touch. if you jack up the rear, you should be able to push the coil away from the pocket without pulling the spring.

ive installed a set of spy, a set of tananbe NF210 and a set of DF210.

if u dont have everything sitting right or resting correctly. u'll get noise or uneven height.

i personally run DF210, installed myself and i have no noise or anything.. sometimes i'll have a little creeking but that's only SOMETIMES. you need to use the wraps correctly, make sure the rubber caps on top and bottom are sitting in the correct position and after you LoWER the jack make sure the cups are all lined up and stuff(rear)

I just got tired of the noise and swapped the rear 2" Tanabe DF210 spring for 1.50" Spy rear springs. They have a coil cut from each rear coil so that brings the Xb down to 1.75" in the rear. Also, the Tanabe's were completely compressed on the bottom 4 coils, they were just sitting on eachother. Thus, my mystery squeeky noise! The Tanabe's suck and are definetely not for me. With the Spy springs on, the Xb rides sooo much smoother! I still have the Tanabe's DF210's 2.2" springs in the front though. Nice and soft ride for the front of the Xb, and a stiffer spring rate for the rear springs. The Xb has a "raked" look now. I likes, I likes! Thanks to Green Bean for installing them, Nish and Carl for hooking me up on the springs, and Showpajoe for supervising the install. Gotsta love my fellow Scion Evo ridaz! 8)

I have DF210 on my XB. Installed myself, no problems. That was the first time I had installed springs so I took it slow. NO NOISE.

The most important part on the rears no matter what springs is to make sure the rubber on top and especially on the bottom of the spring is right where it should be. It could get scrunched up or not be centered and the edge of the spring can touch metal like someone stated and make a noise. There isn't any reason one spring will squeak and another won't just from the spring itself, they all go in and out the same no matter what brand.
