Default Finally dropped my 2.0... <pics> 56k OK

Since I got my car almost a month ago, i've been anticipating lowering the car. Heck, I bought the springs before I got my car! Once I got the car I immediately changed the wheels on it to replace the steelies and wheel covers. Pictures of the car before the drop, but with the wheels:

Last night I further added to the list by installing TRD lowering springs, the progress rear sway bar and a DC Sports front strut tower bar. I finished it off with the One Ton Garage (THANKS VAN!) shims, and added the 5mm spacers on top of that. I have spacers to put all around but I only put the front spacers on, I was worried about rubbing in back, but there was none, so I'll put the rear spacers in the next time i'm bored. Initially I had rubbing issues in front, by the back of the tire, which hit the splash shield and a part of the inner fenderwell's undercoating next to the edge of the splash shield. It bothered me because I was having rubbing issues before even lowering the car. Part of the culprit is the thicker, bigger 215/45/17 tires I put on... After finishing the suspension I trimmed the splash shield and pounded in the part where the undercoating was to make sure that I won't rub in the future. It seems to have worked because there's no rubbing whatsoever! In the end, all that work took me about 2 and a half hours, with a little help from a friend. He was working on his car and I was working on mine, and he'd come over to help me when I needed it.
My impressions? It makes the car handle a LOT better, and the "fun" factor goes up significantly. Overall I'm pleased with the car, it could use a little more power and a higher performance clutch, but those things I'd probably consider going forward when I get an itch in my pocket. Lastly, I ordered custom plates, it pretty much answers any of the comments, curiosities and remarks that people have to say about the car:

And here's some pics of the finished product. I didn't have the chance to take any pics earlier in the day, so these will have to do for now:

I always said to myself that the RS 2.0 is such a fricken ugly color until my wife's nephew bought one. Then I said "Holy sh!+, what an awesome lookin' color!" You sure do have a nice car there and oh ya', the color kicks ___!!!
