First thing to do: find the best bodyshop in town.
You are not obligated to go to the dealer.
This is important: Find the best bodyshop.

more seriously now
to tell the story: the guy on the Palmetto Expressway was tailgating your car. You had to jam on your own brakes because the truck in front braked suddenly.
The guy behind you tried to evade hitting your Thundercloud by veering left, and so you were hit only a glancing blow.
This angle of collision is good; about the best kind of hit to take.
The fix is EZ:

thanks for the info SciFly but don't you guys think the dealer would do a better job than the other body shops, what you guys think,oh and don't forget it's not my fault and the dude got very good insurance....STATE FARM...
State Farm the best? Probably. But I'm in dispute with State Farm for 18 months now.
Have not gotten a dime yet and am not enjoying the experience
Yes, I suppose you do best with the dealer's body shop.. You'll want to ask questions and see their crash repair work and -painting skills-
Just keep in control of the process, stay calm with them but let them know you know that less than undetectable repair shall not be good enough for you.
But say that with a smile if you can.. and I think you'll be ok!

You need to remember that a reputable independent body shop stays around because of quality work and customer recommendations. A dealer body shop is around because people don't know any better.
I say go independent. I did, and was very happy with the $4900 in work they did. Just make sure they use OEM parts, any good shop will. They guy at the shop looked at me weird when I asked, he said they always do. Also, the paint is perfect, I have the same color.

maybe i'll shop around and ask questions first before i make my choice, another thing i hope i did'nt get any frame damage, after the accident my box started burning gas like crazy,if there is any frame damage i think i'll have to do a trade in......,,,
