Well today i was going to use my $50 gift card towards a TRD quickshifter. I went into the Daly city Scion parts dept. and low and behold the parts guy said that the TRD quickshifter for the XB is on national backorder. Has anybody heard of this and where in the bay area can i get a Quickshifter.

 

Ouch, that sucks. Only thing I can say is order it and wait it out. It's definately worth the wait.

 

Stupid question....Is the "short throw" shifter from TRD shorter than stock? I'm not talking about the throws, I'm talking about the length of the stick. With the armrest, It's already low, I don't think I can deal with a shorter shifter without backpains form shifting so low..

 

No, the height of the lever is not changed. It's just a 20% reduction in the throw. I don't know about the national back order thing, but we do have them in stock and they're on sale. The bad news is that I can't redeem the TFS Gift Cards.
