I'm sure this ? has been answered before, so sorry for asking it. How do I get rid of that annoying light in the cubby hole below the AC and HU? I tried to grab it with my fingers but its too d%$m small.

Another ? is what the heck is the light for in the first place? I can't read directions or a map by it :P! It gives very little light off anyways. Also, is there a way to change that bulb without taking off my entire front console?

Thanx for your time. I'm a :loser:

If you're a good shot, an air pistol will do the trick.

If it that annoying and you can't do, just wait until you take back for one of the free oil changes. I am sure they will take it out for you.

Does it really bother people that much? I have heard others complain about it, but i honestly dont even notice it at all, even on long night trips. But, it is a bulb, just remove it.

I hardly notice it at all. The other night I'm like "hey, there's a light there..." and just went on with my driving. It doesn't distract my eyes or anything like that. Then again, I'm taller, so maybe I sit up higher in the seat than most people and may not see the full effect that some of you do.

If you can't remove it just like that, then take off the center peice that covers the radio, you can definitly take it out then. Oh yeah and by the way, why in gods name would that tiny light that is no where near bright, bothering you?

Before bed I always go out to the car and read a nice book under that light, it's soothing.

I actually like the light... I hardly stick anything in that cubby hole, but if I do, I know I wont have a hard time finding it... I think its convienent... just makes me wish there was one in the glove box too... maybe even the armrest center console area... but it doesnt bother me at all

i replaced mine with blue .. all you have to do it stick your hand behind the carpet on the floor on the passengers side. wiggle some wires... see the lil' light move and yank on the wire. the bulb including the wire should come off. take off the bulb #74 i think , and place the existing wire back in the little hole . I adivse you not to take off the center console because there is no purpose to it !!
