Can anyone help!?!? I've never installed a system before and I've found a lot of useful information on some different websites but I've yet get this question answered and I'm F-----NG stuck! :tap: I'm hooking my subs up to the factory radio and I've got a converter for my RCA's...... How do I wire the converter to the radio? Which wires go where? I'm getting frustrated. Hopefully someone can help...

first, look at the amp to see if it has high level inputs. If it does, then you just need to piggyback into the rear speakers (+ and - on both left and right) and run the new piggybacked wires to the HiLevel Inputs.....

I think I can do that. How do I get to the speakers?

you can do that by taking out the rear panels...but since you already have a converter i suggest you use it...look for the stereo removal procedure and wiring codes(remote and lf,rt speakers) in the tech section of this wonderful site. for power, cut a hole in the rubber grommet located on the firewall behind the battery

I saw my installer remove the back seats by two plastic clips right under the front part of the back seat and then pull the whole back seat out. Then on the right side (if you're looking at the front windshield, it's on the right) you can get to the wires that go to the speaker.

the converter won't give as good of sound quality unless it's a JL Audio Cleansweep or Audiocontrol LS6 or something in that range......High level inputs are preferred over any converter other than these high dollar/quality ones.....
