I was parked outside my friends house to pick her up and this woman backs right into the side on the driver's side. Her car had a little scratch on the bumper and on mine the metal was pushed in the the light bulb casing was moved. The paint was fine but when I turned the wheel the plastic on top scraped against it. Im going to get an estimate tomorrow.

Ill try to post pictures if I can. This woman tried to blame it on me though. I was parked far enough away from her car plus she had back up sensors although she claims they malfunctioned.

 

Heh, if her sensors malfunctioned, how is it your fault?

For that matter, how is it your fault that she couldn't look out her back window and gauge how far away her huge vehicle was from yours?

Seriously, it makes me laugh how people will always try to pin the blame on someone else. So weak.

 

Yea especially considering I was parked, plus I also think she was on her cell phone.

This is the kind of thing that makes me lose hope in mankind. You're parked, she's on a cell phone(!) and she hits your car and says it's your fault. If I was there, and she tried to blame my friend on her idiocy, i'd have to risk prison and say "Does Wayne Brady gotta choke a _____ tonight?"

I had an estimate. 2000 dollars.

That's including a new tire and rim because according to the auto body shop it was damaged in the accident by a piece of the car that scraped against it.

So I don't mind. If the woman is going to pay for it then fine by me, but instead I might use that money and fix some messed up pain so it depends. I mean the rim is scratched and the tire has a chunk missing, but nothing serious.

Woman shouldn't drive big trucks or SUV's, because of this reason. This lady almost scraped the side of my car jumping into my lane on the freeway. Lucky I was paying attention and that there was nobody in the lane next to me. I rolled down my window and told her to go back to driving school. I said, "the person who showed you how to drive should be and that DMV should be closed down for giving you a drivers license". She had the nerve to tell me I was in her way.... Nothing ____es me of more then women trying to drive big trucks/SUV's that couldn't even drive a Echo if they tried.....
