I know there are rotors and brake pads out there for TC but does anybody have SS brake lines for TC ? That might be an upgrade i'll be interested. I feel like TC's brakes are little too soft.

View Full Version : SS Brake Lines ? ZaZaTc 05-18-2005, 11:47 PM I know there are rotors and brake pads out there for TC but does anybody have SS brake lines for TC ? All of our lines are DOT approved and made here in Torrance, CA. We pressure test each individual line at over 3000psi, which is a pressure that car brake systems will never see. They might on one really hard spike though. Other manufacturers may only test one line out of a batch or none at all. We also have a plastic coating over the braided stainless steel. ZaZaTc 05-19-2005, 12:03 AM Would you know the price range for all 4 lines ??? And any discount for the Scionlife members ? Stoptech 05-19-2005, 12:14 AM Try this link http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=586834&highlight=#586834 We don't give discounts for any forum members. If you are looking for some top quality parts, then we are the right company for you. If you are looking for the cheapest parts possible, then we aren't the right company for you. BodeB15 05-19-2005, 01:54 AM I can't believe that Goodrich wouldn't have an application listed for the TC ? kocho333 05-19-2005, 05:36 AM ...not yet at least...they will JasonH 05-19-2005, 01:53 PM I can't believe that Goodrich wouldn't have an application listed for the TC ? I think you mean Goodridge: http://www.goodridge.net/ They have a set for the Celica and they will probably work on the tC. BodeB15 05-19-2005, 02:11 PM LOL...well after working 3rd shift...spelling becomes secondary to sleep . Thanks for the correction . Stoptech 05-20-2005, 03:24 PM Make sure you guys find lines that have a plastic coating over the stainless steel. Over time, rocks and dirt get worked into the braided steel and can damage the lines. SupaWhiteTc 05-20-2005, 06:20 PM Indeed. We use braided lines and cables on all of our motorcycles where I work and we always get clear coated. |
