Default which springs give good drop and good ride?

I want a decent drop but not a stiff ride. After just getting out of a saturn with a 2.5" drop that rode like a gokart, i want to stay away from that

any suggestions? I looked at the tein S tech but i didn't know how they would ride or what kind of camber issues i'd have

thanks!

S-techs give a very comfortable ride for the drop. They're on par if not more comfortable than stock. After my alignment I was at a very liveable 1degree on each corner.

I went with the S-Techs, if the ride is too harsh, i can always go for something different with as easy as these cars are to lower

I don't understand how a 2" drop can give you better comfort than stock. How does it feel over bumps / holes in the road?

they mechanic is like it will take 7 hours worth of labor to install the springs. I tell him i used to own a 240sx i could do the springs in like an hour when it had springs on it before coilovers. Ill just do it myself instead of paying an outragous price.

its a general rule of thumb that all the TRD products are mild upgrades. so your best bet would be the TRD springs.

H&R for comfort. They make amazing quality springs. Progressive rate is top-notch. Soft over little bumps, but as the spring compresses it becomes stiffer thus preventing you from severely bottoming out.

German suspension companys know what they're doing. They get certications beyond what even OEMs get for quality. They do cost more but you get what you pay for. I swear by H&R and don't usually recommend many others as a first choice. I'm on the 2nd car I've owned with H&R and they've both been great.

On my old car I had H&R, then Eibachs, then Hayame race coilovers (with shocks). The H&Rs were most comfortable and didn't erode. The Eibachs sat a little lower and still gave a decent ride while also maintaning it's coating to prevent erosion (NE weather). The Hayames rode stiff and the car handled well, but they fell apart, had horrid toe issues, and were next to impossible to adjust with the tools they give you.

I race a lot and H&Rs are a great compromise between road and track. It's a great investment. The only other suspensions I'd run with are Tein SS, H&R coilovers, Progress C1s, or KWs.

I have H&R springs. They are progressive rate springs so it still absorbs small bumps fine put when you push it, it gets stiffer.
They are probably the priceyist ones out there because they are from germany. I got a deal on them for 175 so i couldnt pass it up

Arent the H&Rs lower in the front than in the back? Im thinking once I get my system all set up in the back it might be nice to have the rear springs a little higher...
