bored looking looking at my wounded tC due to the pothole injury to the tire and rim and can't do anything till monday.

Suggest a color. My tC is Flint Mica, what would be a compliment color for that?

 

I would say blue or red. But it's customization, don't let others make the decision for you!

I think that a royal blue will compliment the flint mica nicely, and it'll be a bit different than the "standard" red that most people seem to use.

Where'd you get em and what'd you pay if you don't mind?

 

I got them from wheelsdirectonline.com for 1249 shipped. I love the rims, they have a nice lip on them but they do scratch fairly easily.

 

I have an IIP tC, i was thinking to paint them to match the car color. now im not so sure, any suggestions?

 

I have an iip and I just did mine in blue. i thought about doing the color match but decided to go with something that stands out a bit more so i used a brighter blue almost the color of my intake. it looks pretty good i think. i'll get some pics up if ya want.

I'd go for a flat or gloss black.... much more subtle, and looks better on stock calipers

its a very close blue to the typhoon intake, not as shiny or sparkly but the color itself is close. I like the way the bright blue compliments the iip.

 

nice. What kind of paint did you use?

 

its the duplicolor ceramic caliper paint. you brush this stuff on, no spraying involved. makes it a bit cleaner and easier because you dont have to mask off as much stuff or completely remove your calipers.

 

I used the same stuff... simple to use, but masking the rear caliper takes some time.. and it feels like quite a chore when it 105degrees outside... I just did mine today. I have a SSM, and decided to go for black calipers, because I dont want anything too loud. Its not something most people would notice, since I didnt do it red or anything, but it does make a world of difference... me happy
