I got rear ended and this lady is paying me cash for my exhaust and bumper.
My question is Is it worth upgrading the whole exhasut and pipe while Im at it and get my back bumperbody kit.

Second where in San Diego Cali is there a body shop thats reasonable for that kind of upgrade.

Also should I go with K&N exhaust. That

 

upgrading the exhaust is a cosmetic decision, not much performance to be gained there (imho).

Say, sorry about the accident. That sux but at least you don't have to go to the ins. co hers or yours= rate increase even if it isn't your fault (and it wasn't your fault of course!)

What speed did the accident happen? You should have filled out a police report so you have proof just in case an injury surfaces a month after the accident. This way you have something documented in case you need to take this to court.

 

The lady said she would pay me cash. The guy I said insurence. I took pictures of the accident for my 1st hit. Can you believe it though. 2 in 1 day.

Be sure to check the bumper absorber adn the reinforcement. I'd definately get a shop to do a thorough estimate and then have her pay you. SHe might think twice if it is over 500

I use to work auto claims and it is going to get tricky since you have damage over damage. Unless they are in two separate areas.
