new to the tc
Ok I use to own a focus and I currently own a xb but I'm about to trade it in for a tc this week. My question is, will it be fast to me? I mean all I have ever drivin were these two slow cars and all I'm asking for is a lil more "omph!"

Its not really that fast, its 160 hp! But it will speed you up much faster than Focus and xB. I used to own a Kia Sephia w/ 125hp. Honestly, I felt my sephia gets off the line faster than teh tC, dunno why
I go back in forth from my tC to the xB all the time. My stock A/T tC is much faster than our M/T xB w/quick shifter, exhaust, and intake.
....but my Impreza will kill both of them.
feeling quick, and being quick are two different things.
I've been swapping back an forth between driving my 94 M/T Corolla (4 Cyl 1.8L 115HP), and my 05 A/T tC. The tC accelerates quick. But you don't really feel it. It's a much larger quieter car with a smoother ride. I hit the pedal and boom, i'm doing 80MPH. But with the smaller size of the Corolla, you just feel like you're going quick, even though, well, you're not really.
