R.S. 2.0 gas mileage
I know that the posted gas mileage is not what I will actually get, but Im really not getting good mileage. Does the exhaust on the RS 2 effect the gas mileage it gets
I have been getting 34-35 mpg on my new R2.0?? Auto, stock, no CAI, 15" tires.
I have 2150 miles on the box. I have been very pleased. I use it to commute a little over 100 miles a day. I cros the Blue Ridge mt daily, and that keeping at 60 or so revs to 4K.

Give it a few more hundred miles. It might geet better. I had started another thread on this and logged my mileage.
It jumped around like crazy. My most recent try 180 I got 35mpg. My worst was 21.
I've found head wind will kick your butt.

I have just a tad over 3000 miles on my box and as of today I am averaging 35.092 miles/gallon in my box. I have filled my tank up 9 times so far. Here is the mileage on each tank.
1st tank - 31.390 miles/gal
2nd tank - 36.459 miles/gal
3rd tank - 37.0889 miles/gal
4th tank - 35.784 miles/gal
5th tank - 34.997 miles/gal
6th tank - 35.194 miles/gal
7th tank - 35.443 miles/gal
8th tank - 36.396 miles/gal
9th tank - 33.079 miles/gal (Mileage drop is due to running the AC most of the time considering the temp has been between 105 & 110 here in the Phoenix Valley)
I do about 50/50 freeway and city driving. I don't drive the box hard all the time. I usually try to shift between 3000 and 3500 RPM. I know that mileage is affected the way that we drive. If I were to drive it like a racecar all the time I know I wouldn't be getting the mileage that I am getting. I love just cruisin the box and the mileage that I have been getting with it.
