Default Might buy an xB tomorrow!

I've had my xA since December and I love it. It's an awesome little car that has exceded my expectations. Anyhow, on Friday my wife and I were traveling to Baltimore for a weekend get-a-way when her 1998 Buick decided to die. I think we either blew the head gasket or cracked the head. Either way, it's probably going to cost more to fix than the car is worth at this point. I hadn't planned on replacing her car until I paid off my xA in two years, but now we have no choice. She likes the xB, and when you factor in purchase price, cost of ownership, reliability, cargo space....etc, it seems like a good choice. Heck, we might even come home with a yellow RS! I'm excited at the prospect of getting another Scion, but I wasn't really ready for this yet. Oh well.

Go for it! I hope they have something for you in stock.

I am able to drive my trade-in around until they get my TCM manual in for me...but I just got the call, and I'll be picking it up Tuesday night (after 3-1/2 weeks' wait). I guess I'll be helping to make my sales rep's May.

We changed or minds........we bought it tonight!! We had to drive over an hour to get it, but my wife is now the proud owner of a solar yellow xB! What an awesome car. She loves it.

Yep. 1998 with 99,000 miles. The trade-in value if it hadn't blown up was around $2000. It's going to be at least $1000 to $1300 to fix. I might just scrap it.
