Default so I went to the drag strip with the B this weekend.

my first time out, I ran a 17.7 @78 mph my xB is stock, except with an axleback from strup. 5 spd too. I ran with the traction control on, though I should have turned it off. I had my sub, detailing stuff and 2 backpacks in the car. has anyone else brought their xB's to the track? some dude in the audience kept giving me **** about it at the line, I wanted to punch him in the face.

If that auto xB indeed ran those times. Pretty impressive as I ran 17.7@76mph beating the crap out of my auto xA. I thought the xB are in the 17's with mods for a 5spd? Oh well, these cars are awesome for daily driving!

Edit, looking ath the timslip, how the hell do you run 3.1 60ft in a powerless xB and run 16's in the ET....Unless xB is a lot different than xA's, top end on these cars suck!

where you shift is a big thing, 60Ft isn't that long. Xa and Xb i believe are geared almost if not identical. Plus, when i said empty xb..i meant empty, i took out the spare, rear seats, safety kit and all of that to safe some weight. Obviously, i put everything back in after that day because it would be retarded IMO to drive around without rear seats, spare questionable but i keep it in there.

I've seen a Stock 5speed run 17.5, so i dont know whos running a modded xb running 17s!!

auto xB with intake, header, and axle back exhaust? Looks fishy to me...

edit: ah, rear seats were taken out. Goes to show that every pound counts.

Like I said, I run my cars hard. The night of the 17.7 run, i ran over 15 times and best of 17.7. Yes, I mannually shift the car, change shifting techquie every run. I'm not saying I dont believe you, just from the 60ft time to ET seems very odd to me. I saw someone run 3.2 60ft time in a modded evo and only able to hit 15.8@104mph My car falls on it face after 70mph, maybe I need to get mods for this car huh?

These cars are slow no matter what you do to them. You need to buy a faster car if that's what you really want.

16.6 is my best run with steelies and no spare and a sub in the back. I need a new suspension, maybe that will help my hook up a little better. I,H,E and pulley.
