View Full Version : Camber Kit HELP! thetat2guy 06-02-2005, 11:15 PM I just got my 05 XB I want to do a 2in drop I am lookin at Gold line springs but some one said that I might need a camber kit for it but I cant find anything about them for my xb. Do you even need one? bwywias 06-02-2005, 11:21 PM dude i have a 3" drop on my xB and i have 18s . i do not have any problem. you shouldnt need it. bwywias 06-02-2005, 11:23 PM oh one more thing i have trd springs that may be the way to go. smooth ride. not all chopy and bumpy like some of the others. just thought i would let you know. killerxromances 06-02-2005, 11:36 PM 2'' Drop?? Tanabe DF210s all the way. Best performing spring IMO. Drop is low, 2.2 front 2.0 rear. As far as needing a camber kit, no. You could get coilovers and drop 3'', you still wouldn't need a camber kit. However, camber kits will improve the handling significantly. Check into the Cusco camber kit. Front and rear are both sold seperately, all you really would want if you did get a camber kit would be the front. $220-$250 is what your looking at. Good luck!! OH: PM Mybox for camber kits, i was refered to by hotbox05 and hes a good guy. He'll hook you up and thats who im going to go with for my kit! eXciteBox 06-02-2005, 11:47 PM dude i have a 3" drop on my xB and i have 18s . i do not have any problem. you shouldnt need it. just out of curiosity how do you have a 3" drop on trd's? are you running ground controls? as for needing camber 99% of people here only run camber because they want to, not becasue they need to :) bwywias 06-03-2005, 03:12 AM nope dont have ground controllers TXboxdriver 06-03-2005, 12:43 PM if any camber correctrion is needed it would be the front the rear is expensive and not easy(it's an axle beam) the front is an easy fix from SPC some $20 camber bolts for the front struts and DONE! |
