Anyone get a Grounding Kit and see good results?
Anyone know if the Scion stock grounding is good or not? I know for cars like Mitsu's and Subaru's which have terrible stock grounds can gain significant WHP with a god grounding kit like Sun Auto's or Apexi's.
However i was wondering if anyone used one or has one currently and has experienced positive results like better throttle response etc.
Any help would be great...

I made my own and notice one big difference...no more rough idles...my girlfriends box doesnt have a groud kit and its idles jump all over and mine used to before I put it on. Really other then that no differences...
I made my own, Just like TheDanger, my idle is better. honestly I wouldn't pay very much for the grounding kits since it doesn't make THAT much of a difference. if you can make it yourself, way worth it.
I made mine as well from the DIY tech section. If anything I have pretty red wires under my hood!
Haven't had a chance to drive it much since installing them, so I really couldn't say anything about performance or enhancements of any kind.

I see, thanks for all the replies... yeah i am going to get the APEXi one (i have good hookups so can get it for a good deal and i am a JDM *****). Anyhow the reason I asked was because I have the Sun Auto complete system on my STi and well I did a test for DSport Magazine for a (Test and Tune Article) and we got some legitimate power gains. Roughly 8whp no B.S. anyhow was wondering if the same results could be seen on the bB. i didn't want to throw this on my buddies dyno, kind of foolish
Anyhow i guess no real gains are seen since the Toyota stock grounding system must work pretty well.

go DIY man! there's a great tech article by mikochu and you can save a few bones that route too. i made my 4ga kit for ~$18 an an hour of my time
i got a slightly improved throttle respose and smooth idle, but it did nothing for getting shocked when leaving the ride, my original intention for the kit.
only downside is that it kinda looks kinda ugly in the engine imo

go all out and get a new neg batter terminal , and some nice ring connectors too. also re-do the stock ground that goes down to the tranny. I used both 4ga and 8ga for my kit I should be taking a few pics as soon as it stops raining here. who wouldda known rain in june in sacramento ca? weak
