I checked on cars.com and used 05 xbs like mine with less than 10k miles are going for 17, 18, 19k dollars. Crazy! Maybe I should put mine up for sale since I live near DC; i'm sure some tard just can't wait to throw some money my way. :silly:

supply and demand... this happened to the MINIs too when it first came out. I remembered some people were willing to pay 5 - 10k over sticker.

Very few production vehicles in history have ever gone up in value once you drive it off the lot. An exception to the rule would be the '70 Datsun 240Z. Fot those luckey enough to find one, it could be re-sold for thousands more than the purchase price. And that was for a car that sold new for about $3,500.

I just don't see the supply as being that short for the xB. The dealer near me has had 3 yellow RS2 on the lot for about a month. Not to mention the standard xBs. This car has been out nation wide for more than a year and initial demand has moved past the "next new thing".

Edmunds.com shows that these cars hold their value well, but I don't think you will find may buyers that would be willing to pay more that was invested.
