View Full Version : TRD Speed Grille and accessories
dzcustom 03-02-2004, 09:38 PM Does anyone know if the TRD Speed Grill comes with the TRD emblem the goes in the lower corner?
What is it made of?
If no emblem, where can I get one?
Just for reference, I am talking about the grille on Adrian's silver xB.
Scionic 03-02-2004, 09:52 PM No the speed grill doesn't come with a TRD emblem. Actually I think that wasn't even a TRD part but Adrian put a nice touch by adding that emblem.
As for where you can get it. Usually any dealership that deals alot in TRD parts can get it for you.
MrSmiley 03-02-2004, 09:55 PM yep, you're right ... the speed grill is bare .. the TRD emblem was a nice touch :)
dzcustom 03-03-2004, 08:20 PM Thanks for the info. I hope to find it.
XBBOY 03-03-2004, 08:35 PM check w/ Wes at Cabe toyota, they carry the grill and the TRD emblems too.
tbblizzard 03-03-2004, 08:57 PM they make the speed grille for scions? thought it was only the matrix that got them. do they make them for the xa? don't even see it listed under scion on trdusa.com
bBted 03-03-2004, 09:00 PM because its not from TRD....

not really looking for billet... i don't really like billet... looking for the trd style speed grille... got someone looking into making them for the xa.

dzcustom 03-04-2004, 04:47 AM Sorry everyone for calling it a TRD grill. I was misinformed. I still would like to get the TRD emblem for it though. Thanks for the info everyone and the pics.

How much are they? What's the emblem in the center? I want one just as pictured above. Let me know how much!
scioninla 03-09-2004, 05:33 PM The car you are referring to is mine.
I highly recommend you buy the parts from Cabe Performance in Long Beach.
Wes and Roger are the nicest guys and quite helpful. I have been to other dealers and the service sucked and they did not have anything in stock...waste of time for me.
The grille is a Toyota Japan option (speed grille) and I bought the TRD badge separately. Cabe has several badges to choose from and they have a lot of parts for Scions (especially TRD). They also have parts that no one else carries ...
check them out www.cabeperformance.com
Carson_Scion_TRD_Parts 03-11-2004, 05:27 PM Thanks for the Biz dzcustom, Enjoy your Speed grille :D
LNCHBOX 03-13-2004, 01:57 AM does any one have pics of a speed grill on a black sand xb?
JDMbB 03-16-2004, 12:49 AM why does that car have a nissan silvia emblem on the front? the TRD emblem looks awesome though.
dzcustom 03-22-2004, 08:09 PM The black and blue xB look simular when they are in the right light. I can get a pic of mine (a blue xb) with the grill.
Adrian thanks for the info once again. :) I am looking for some other parts at Cabe, but how do I view some trd emblems they have online. Their dealership is a loooong way from me.
rolex87 05-27-2004, 08:51 PM I wanna get one form Cabe, but I'm still saving!

LuxNova 05-31-2004, 07:59 AM Mine is getting here on Wednesday. I can't wait.
LuxNova 06-03-2004, 11:15 PM It's on, and it's PURE SEX. This is probably the best of the aftermarket grills, IMO. The fit is perfect-it looks like it's a stock part. And the install literally took 3 minutes. Pop the 3 plastic things, pull off old grill, place in new one, replace plastic things. Done.
