Next time you wash your box, try this:
Shammie or towel dry your side view mirror housing and push in - on the bottom of the movable mirror. You will hear some 'CLICKING', but this is O.K. This will give you another inch to let the towel absorb standing water inside the housing. Unless you are parked facing downhill, you will get it all and you will not have that dripping sensation.

You will need to re-adjust both mirrors, but that's O.K., our cars have push buttons to do that for you.

If that clicking scares you, adjust your mirrors all the way down and in, before washing your XBox. This will expose more of the bottom of the housing, so you can dry it.

I keep canned air as part of my detailing kit.

After I wash and dry, and I'm doing the hand detailing, I blow out any water
trapped in the foglights (or covers), under the head lights, in door handles,
and in the mirrors.

Canned air for $5 at your local computer store, and a good Microfiber Cloth and your set!

Now if I can just figure out how to get the water out of my sunroof channels...

Well, thats $5 I save, plus the trip to the auto store. I find it so much easyer to just push the mirror adjustment button before and after. Push button techknowledgy is simple.
Vacumes, leaf blowers with filters and canned air is just nuts. Anyone DRILL holes to drain this water yet? Try adjusting mirrors and you can save your air for other porposes.

I bought a electric leaf blower to pre-dry my tc. The grill holds alot of water, so does the mirrors and wheels. Works great.

wtf i just let mine air dry
