Default Had my car detailed by a professional, that's how dirty it..

was I'm a little ashamed to admit this, but I haven't cleaned my car for the past...oh...6 months :O

I guess with school, and delivering pizzas, it was getting a little sick on the inside. I was going to attempt it myself, but EVERY square inch was covered dough flour. It became appearant, after finding a 2 month old orange I "brought for breakfast" and an hour of cleaning, this was going to be a job that could only be handled by a professional.

I dropped it off at a local detail shop - 6 and half hours later, the xB was sitting there, looking new as ever Best 150 bucks I've ever spent - seriously.

How many miles a week do you put on your car driving? I'm kind of in a similar boat, i'm an insurance inspector. I drive 4-500 miles a week visiting peoples houses to perform inspections. My interior is getting pretty bad since I am living in my car 8+ hours at a time. My driver's door has started to squeak from all the opening and closing all day. I can't wait to get my beater nissan sentra on the road so I can keep my xB in good shape. I've had it a year and 3 months and it has over 20k miles on it.

Around 300 a week. I've been working in store alot lately, so the car has had quite a break 24k miles now, bought in Feb. 04.

Yeah, I drive my xB about 100 miles a week (back and fourth to school and work). AND I wash/ detail it every week.

So basically, my car is showroom detailed everyday that I drive it!

I went to a Scion dealership today with my sister (She is buying an xB I Identical to mine). I was ambushed by the scion staff because they liked my xB so much. when I told them that is was a year old, thier jaws dropped.

I detail cars on the side (mostly co-workers of my mother's) I have polished up some cars that had not been washed in a year!~

I had to refuse to work on one ladies car because she smoked so much in it that the windows were greasy!
