Im thinking of installing a custom small shift light no tach, dont want one of the riced out mega diameter lights want to keep it all stock looking. Has anybody info on a sending / control unit for them and were to get them. I can get them for a motorcycle but I have to drop over a hundred and Im not going to use the light.

...so you don't want to look ricy, but you want to install a shift light that you aren't gonna use?

Nope, a freind just returned from Japan after a few months there, and brought me over a bunch of bits and peices from some group of nuts racing boxes, one of which is a customized factory gauge pod with a shift light built into the face , its pretty cool but no way to activate the light on my U.S version so I was looking for info on a control unit. just somthing to do when I have some extra time. Its going to be autocrossed but even with the exeption of my semi used green seats and harnessess he shipped over I still want to retain the same look of the dash. Had a chance to buy some wicked 15' custom ultra lightweight wheels from them but not enough$$$$. Anyways that was basiclly what I was intrested in, a simple contol unit.

o.k. boys and girls...all of you with the latest (Winter 04) scion mag plz turn to page 04 in your books which lists the TRD accessories. notice that second from the bottom they list a sequential light shift kit (available March '04)
Racing style high intensity indicator notes optimal shift points, with record/playback function
so, who's goin to be the first to get this?
