Well I went to the body shop this morning to pick up my xb, surprisngly, they did a good job and it never even looked like a dent was there. But as my boyfriend would say "time will tell" the paint job could be a crappy one and it could start to bubble or peel after a while...but until then im satisfied with the dent removal.

I didn't see the estimate, but let's say the shop did a complete R&I of moldings, trim, etc... and not taped off the moldings, trim, etc... then I can only guess you will have a superior finish.

Our xB's are know for having thin paint that chips easily.

If they only taped things off, then you will "IN TIME" have clear coat peeling issues. You might have sold it by that time.

But, it depending on how the body shop did the repairs.

 

all i know, is that if it were me in your position during part 1 of this ordeal......someone would have been dead

 

You should have grabbed the phone and drove off, then called everyone you know and for hours.

 

No kidding. That was a pretty jacked up thing to happen. What kind of throws a cell phone anyway?

 

I would throw a rock before my cell phone. I would die if my cell phone broke. haha

@ Toyota they gave me a quote for 780.16

@ the parent's body shop the quote was 200.00

Smells like a big fish here but we'll see how long the paint job lasts...

I have a messsed up tempered...but not HORRID TEMPER.. i can't go to female jail!! Its worse than male jail....they stick things in you while your in the shower!!

All that matters now is that I got it fixed....

Oh gosh I feel for you!

My husband just got his box back on Tuesday after THREE weeks for a broken window...again thanks to an ___!!! Our neighbor was hatin and busted out the back window and scratched the side one and the bumper had glass scratches. I hope the body shop did the work right!

I would have enjoyed watching you kick the cr@p out that moron that threw the cell phone at you xB. He's a and deserved everything you gave him.

LOL He makes good money too for a single guy living at home. BUT too bad hes now into the insurance co for over $1500.00! Thats his hatin fault right!
