so you take a heat gun/blow dryer to the back of the lights to seperate them and then:

a) how do you get rid of the amber? break it out or?

b) how do you reseal them? any chance of moisture getting back in?

just pulls out with a good tug...then to reseal them...heat them up again & put them back togethter...i put a light coat of permatex around the housing & the lens...just to make sure it doesnt leak

It looks great, but I think I'd still be partial to putting yellow bulbs in...

When my rear quarter panel red reflector thing busted, I noticed that there was red bulbs under the red reflector... that's why I ask...

There is supposed to be an amber reflector in the front of the car. If it's not there then it's illegal. My cousin and uncle who are NYC cops told me this.

They have gotten me out of alot of trouble, but they can't fix everything. I do have a clean driving record btw   They tell me what I need to know to stay out of stupid tickets, and the PBA cards and shield that I have helps too

Do a search..there are a few threads about different technique on how to do it.

search for like clear headlights.
