I want to buy removable roofracks and a cargo carrier for my Xb. I'm only going to need to use the setup a few times a year, so I want to remove the racks when they're not in use.

Anyone here have removable racks? What make and model do you have?

Thanks.

I have the Saris rack. I have had Thules before and like the saris better. It is a very beefy rack, with a flat profile, almost like a wing. The best thing about them is that thay take about a minute to install and adjust. You tighten one "nut" on the end of the loadbar, and both towers are tightened at the same time. Good luck

Thanks for the info. I'm looking at the Saris racks right now. Which model do you have? What do you carry on your racks?

I have Thule. They make a generic rack with special Scion "feet" fpr custom mounting.

How's the price on this Yakima rack?

If anyone knows where to get a better price, then please share.

Just went ahead and bought the Yakima. It's what the dealers sell, and it's a Yakima, so I'm sure it's fine. Ionly plan to use it a few times a year with a cargo carrier when travelling on vacations. But once I have it, I'll probably use it more often.

Thanks for the replies.
