Finally.
On Friday I got the call that my XB was ready to be picked up. I went right away. I am so glad I waited (only three weeks) to get the color I wanted and the auto trans. The rear hatch emblems came right off--no residue or anything. Just used some dental floss and BAM! they were gone. I love this car to death. It feels like driving a van, and you can see way out there.
Now I'm waiting on my full moons and the bB front emblem. I ordered them the day before I got the car, thinking I could snaz it up right away when the car finally arrived.

Sorry, I don't have a digital camera. I'll see what I can do to post pics though.
I ordered the moons from Mooneyes: http://www.mooneyesusa.com/index.asp...ROD&ProdID=385. I hope they fit okay, because they look sooo nice. Everytime I drive it, I love it more
It's great car that gets lots of looks. People either love it or think it's weird looking. I haven't yet seen one on the road with me, so it must seem relativley odd to other motorists.

which moons did you get?
-JC Whitney's stainless, polished moons 'fit' but still, Wayne lost one the other day and grew disgusted with that ruined cover. Also, the JC Whitney moons are not spun, but more like "stamped". And so, the true-ness of mirror effect is distorted by some dimples and lumps in the reflection. I have a set here, new in the box. I don't like them enough to even put one one. I'll be returning them for credit. Bear in mind that I am picky.
-Mooneyes BRAND "Spacer" model: Look perfect! These are spun, optically perfect, chrome plated steel. I got a set for my elderly friend's RS2. I knew they would not fit in all the way because the Toyota wheel's center annulus is higher than the dish of the Spacer cap.
In result, these caps DO tend to pop off. Knowing this about them, I installed Ray's covers using a liberal amount of clear GE RTV silcone adhesive sealant. A BEAD on the crown of the wheel's annulus ridge and a heavy SMEAR in the perimeter ring where the gripper claws grab. These covers will not fall off. But I rue the day when they do come off because I'll have to scrape off all that silicone rubber residue in order to re-glue the caps in place.
Security test: drive the car over potholes and railroad tracks, etc. CHECK the covers to see if any are showing signs of working loose. IF you can press the covers in some more -at any point of the perimeter- after being in service, then you'd better GLUE the suckers on, or check daily for cover-walk-off.

Thanks for the tips. They seem pretty solid, even after going over speed bumps and drainage gutters. If they do start to look or feel like they may pop off, I'll definitley use silicone.
I got the Mooneyes "Spacer" btw. They look really sharp.
God I love this car!
