Hiya all, newbie here! I just picked up my tc last night and while we were waiting for all the paperwork to be done, I was looking at the other Scions on the lot. My question is, on the front bumpers of all of them, on driverside, there is a circle about 2-3 inches across there. Not cut out, but it;s very noticable. I know it's not for fog lights or anything and it's on all the models. It kinda bothers me, not knowing what it's for. Anyone know what it is?

Actually, I've been wondering this myself. I doubt it's for bumper removal (as it wouldn't make sense since it's all about ease of removal). Hmm, maybe someone knows. I haven't played around enough with the car to know.

This has been addressed so many times that you'll find out more than you ever needed to know about it.
It is also in the owner's manual!

 

It's for a tow hook. In the trunk, with the jack, there is a big eye bolt. If you need to have your car pulled out of a ditch or something, you pop the circle off, screw the bolt in and connect a cable to it.
