car keyed....WTF!!!
Not sure what's up with people now a days but a MOTHERF*CKER personally added a new mod to my car... a long deep scratch from the front fender all the way back to my taillight. Even went over my gas cap for bonus points too!!! Saw some guys doing something to my car as soon as I walked out of the building I was in... the messed up thing is that it was the same guys I was talking to during our 2 hour traffic court hearing.
you know his name?
you can try to take him to court for that ____ but i dunno if it will go through since its word for word and if he get away with it and u do something to him they can put it on you... options are... try to sue him or try to ruin him or his car or both.
i really feel ya.. im tired of _______s who do that they shouldnt get away with it

imo, you aren't giving the whole story but whatever. i would guess, people generally don't key folk that they don't know after they just talked to them for an hour or so, unless the guy just hates tCs.
but, in the event it was a random act of cruelty, you gotta remember chit....why were they there? try and remember the casual conversation about their ticket, etc. if you can narrow down their info, the court will have a record of their name, etc. did you get the pd involved? any cursory investigation at all should identify the guys and since based on your post, you saw who did it, you'll have no problem with the whole misdemeanor needing an eye witness. good luck.

i actually sat by the guys in court and we were kinda joking on how our traffic lawyers would do against this _____y prosecutor. they never really knew that the tc was my car. i was really late for work so i didn't have time to do anything about it. on top of that I think I got a ____ty deal on my speeding ticket... it was $101 for 45 in a 35 zone... paid $150 for the traffic lawyer... he got the court to have me pay $230 by next month and the infraction does not go in my record. If anything i would have taken the ticket cause i found out that it doesn't affect my insurance premium.
im guessing by your sn that you're located on Kauai. If so, at least it's a small island that your bound to see them again to do whatever you choose. Sucks to hear though, I'd be real ____ed if someone did that to my car.

I've found one of the best sources of revenge against a persons vehicle for messing up your car would be to run up to your local grocrey store and buy some really good honey or other preferabe sticky substance and hope that the windows are open. If not, just splatter that stuff on the hood and body and let it bake in the sun. Sorry bout your tC. Something has to be done. I would have probably chased those _____es in the parkinglot and jumped on top of the car they were fleeing to, damaging it as much as possible and kicking the ____ out of it.
Dont do anything back, Understand some People are Scumbag's, And theres not much you can do to change that, ALSO it could of NOT been them, it could of been some little punk kid, and those guys were just checking out your Hot little Ride..... Take it as a learning lesson, Call some body shop's Get some Quote's. And remember Karma is a B-tch.... Be the better man.
Guys, I have been building a 4 camera video system for our cars that writes to a DVR hidden in the car. It is motion sensor driven with a custom voice module to let the F Heads know "This car you are drooling over has onboard video surveillance and your ugly face triggered the recording, the owner has been paged and responding".
The pinhole color cams go in the headrests - angled front and rear sides to cover them all. Optional night vision/day time pin cams as well.
Best of all, everything runs off of 12volts (5 amps).
I will have everything done, install instructions, pics and parts necessary to make it fly within the next 2 weeks. "waiting on the parts to be delivered today".
I am so sick and tired of people doing this crap and getting away with it. I want to know they are near the car and video to find them and make them pay. Usually, car keying is someone that knows you or has met you.
Thieves on the other hand will require the cops to place a name to the face.
Found out the hard way last week.
P.S. Off the shelf parts for the whole setup (less the page alarm system portion) is less than $600 with a 160G hard drive. Throw in a nice page alarm system and your car is secure as possible for less than $800 in parts. Not cheap, but if it saves me one key job or break in, worth every single penny.
OK, if they steal the car, your kinda hosed if they find the DVR.
But, down the road, since the DVR is setup up for IP monitoring as well. Tie this into hot spots (wireless IP) and they can even steal the car if the video is sent out.
