Yes! If you open up your hood and look down the front part of the engine at the bottom you will see it hangin down there. :D kdanie 03-07-2004, 05:16 AM It IS pretty damn small but you can see it. I recomend the filter removal tool that is like a giant socket that fits over the end of the filter and you can loosen it with a ratchet. ken westsype 03-07-2004, 06:05 AM Do you know what size tool I should get for the oil filter removal. Hey thanks for your help kdanie. I opened the hood and looked for it but didn't see. I'll take a closer look tommorrow. I hate those smart a$$es that says read your manual so they can just be a post whore. Instead of just giving up relevant info. tcm_xB 09-27-2004, 12:41 PM Do you know what size tool I should get for the oil filter removal. I believe the filter wrench you buy should be number 1 or the smallest one available. But, to make sure I took the filter in to the shop to make sure. I actually use the one from my Honda (wrench) because Hondas new filters are really small as well. Hey thanks for your help kdanie. I opened the hood and looked for it but didn't see. Here's a pic I took of the filter location showing the oil drain bolt as well. The black thing that is really close to the camera is the splash guard of the front bumper. I didn't have to lift the car to get to either the drain bolt or filter 8) http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_img_a/680066_10_full.jpg |
