Default xB and '56 Speedster pics (56k, you're not invited)

Me and a friend of mine were out today so we stopped for some pictures. His "Porsche" is actually a kit car, but he's done a good job on it. He is slammed. The last picture looks cool, but really makes the Porsche look goofy, and please ignore that camber on his, he's working on it. Enjoy!

Nice!!

Wish I still had my Speedster - it was a good machine, but back then it was too expensive for me to maintain properly.

Haven't seen one with nerf bars for quite a while. :D

Thanks for the compliments. (I hope you were talking about mine.)

Me too! I can't believe how they changed the look of the car without going to a bigger wheel.

The nerf bars do look really cool in person. For a kit car, this thing is loaded with lots of stuff; genuine emblems, wheels, even lugnuts. He's put a ton of work in this car and it shows.

As for the ragtop, he usually has it off, but just got a new one and he is letting it stretch while it's warm. As you can see, it was a perfect day to roll with the top down.

The engine is out of a VW beetle putting out something like 95 horses. The car only weighs 1300 lbs so it's pretty quick. The car is really light since the entire body is fiberglass, and there are few creature comforts, not to mention it's pretty small (the xB dwarfs it)

Thanks for the comment on the pics. This was my first time trying to take good pictures (outside of my driveway) and I was really pleased with the way they came out. I am trying to come up with other places around here which will look good with an xB parked in front of them.
