a dude driving a toyota tacoma hit me while backing out when i was waiting for trafic (i can't believe he didn't see me). anyways it was all his fault but i didn't get a police report (thought i didn't need one), called the insurance company and made a claim, they told me to go to their place to get the car estimate, i'm kindda ____ed about the situation over all, i just got this xA and i took care of it real good too :(, i hope they pay me enough to fix the dent.

if its not your fault always get a police report, if it is, try to get out of it :)

First thing you do is ALWAYS call the cops!
You need the scene and incident documented. If it was the other guys fault he'll be cited a ticket.
I've had a hit and run and i've rear ended someone. I've flipped a vehicle in a solo incident... still called the cops. They needed to eliminate traffic from that road for cleanup. They said I suffered enough and didn't issue me a citation :)
