A security guard at Caltech University decided my camo xb needed paint mods and gave it a 3 panel key stripe. Does anyone know a good paint shop or have some idea of how to deal with this? Naturally he denied everything when I reported him to head of security so this is out of pocket or through my insurance. The scratches are deep enought to have made it down to the primer, maybe deeper in some spots.

Why didn't you call the cops?
He would have to pay for it!

one minor detail: no witnesses. I didnt see it either, I just had a run in, or rather, what I think HE thought was a run in- with him ritght b4 it happened.

If you're not sure enough he did it...
Then you're not sure enough to tell his boss...
If you assume with his job.. Assume with the cops too!

That sux, man. Hope it gets fixed. Maybe he will brag about it to someone, and you will nail him. Know any of the other guards out there or who that creeps friends are? (Though I doubt he has any.)

I know , its a long story, I believe it to be him for good reason, reason that I am pretty sure wont hold up in court, but the law isnt the same as reality. What I told his superiors only makes them keep their eyes open, It doesnt implicate him. What Scifire said might be my only hope- that he'll slip up. I am really just looking for a solution to my paint woes, though.
The law usually has bigger fish to fry. I once had the fingerprints of a car thief(stole my roommate's car.)- the cops told me that they would only run a check under very specific circumstances- usually murder. Maybe you're right, maybe I should call them and check... I might do that, but without evidence...
