you wont see much of a difference, so it's going to be pretty much the same

don't get an aftermarket exhaust for mpg, get it for sound/performance!

btw, you won't notice any changes in mpg

I saw an improvement after I got my intake and exhaust.

From average 30-31 to an average of 33-34

I also did a little weight reduction too...

Peace

I don't really think the price matchs the performance either.

custom catbacks can be had anywhere from 130-350 and they get you about 5whp or so give or take. so that's not bad at all

Isn't that kinda low? Are you "on" it all the time?

Yup, I still get 28-30 mpg w/ all of my mods and the 18 inch wheels. For a while it was a tad less cuz I wanted to hear the exhaust everytime I stepped on it.

I noticed no difference either way, it really boils down to driving habits (IMO). A notable exception would be your wheel and tire pkg. I'm getting 32 mpg average with mods.

Just installed the greddy sp2 on the xB (to go with my fujita short ram intake).

first tank of gas: 29.94 mpg...in other words, negligible improvement in mileage.

btw, the sp2 seems to be breaking in---just a little more noise coming out of the exhaust...first few days after installation, I was wondering when will I hear the beefier sound...

this is an exhaust to get if you want quiet...no droning at all...

i always get 33/34-40mpg with my set up check my profile for all my mods

btw the injen SRI (hot air intake also improves fuel economy) i'm no longer a fan of CAI when it comes to fuel economy which gave my crappy mpg per tank fill up

i got a stock engine with a precision muffler axle back, and a short ram style intake and im getting about 27mpg avg, of about 60% city and 40% highway.

ive been using mymilemarker.com since late july and it does a great job of tracking you numbers, just save your reciept at the gas station and log your mileage and it does the rest.

also note that im a bit pedal heavy at times, about 50/50 on granny shifting and pedal heavyness. as well as i occasionaly tow my jetski and/or atv with my xb as well.

I dont think that you will see any change in gas consumption. If youre worried about gas then get a clean air filter and make sure that your tires are inflated properly.
