got my creative compacts full catback with borla muffler installed. all i can say is WOW. u can 100% feel the extra kick the thing gives u. without a doubt-best decision i made as far as an exhaust goes. i'm gonna get my alphawerks header and then a glass pack installed on the exhaust just to negate some of the rasp. if i have a chance this weekend i'm gonna get the thing dyno'd. the only thing that i wish was different was the sound of the exhaust. don't get me wrong, it sounds great, i just was expecting even more. i had the trd exhaust and regardless of anything bad that anyone says about that exhaust, it does sound great. the catback sounds basically the same-that's my complaint about it(which isn't really a complaint). wish it sounded louder and deeper. watch-once i get the alphawerks header in, i'm gonna be wishing that the thing didn't sound as loud. gotta be nitpicky-this is my baby we're talking about. i'm gonna jump on the LIE and drive out to the hamptons now just for the F of it.

i have the stainless steel one. smurfy-do u have an intake? i have the weapon r with ram air kit, and there's a noticeable gain. not only that, but the more i've driven the car today the more i'm liking the sound. over 3500rpms it actually sounds better/deeper than the trd. at the lower rpms it sounds about the same as the trd. supposedly the sound will get even deeper over time. i was thinking that maybe i should've gotten the flowmaster muffler. i haven't heard of anyone so far who got it and i'm really interested to hear what it sounds like. i wasn't sure at first which exhaust to get, if i should get the draxas, the CC, or wait for zpi or alphawerks to put their's out. now i'm positive i made the right choice. i could't even get the guys from draxas to speak to me-after i paid them for the exhaust. obviously i canceled that order with the quickness. i'm loving the exhaust. the one problem i'm having with it right now is that there's some rubbing against the car. the thing is vibrating like crazy and making a pretty loud metal rattling noise. maybe when the thing settles a little bit the rubbing will stop. until then, this noise is annoying the crap out of me. for whatever reason, it's not happening conistently-it happens for a lil while and then it stops. as far as the install goes, it's pretty straight forward, but if u're gonna do it yourself, make sure u get clamps for it. there weren't any clamps in the box so that was kinda annoying when u're installing it and at the end u realize u have to put the stock exhaust back on just to drive to autozone or wherever to get them. other than that, simple install. i shoulda taken pics of it when i did the install, i just wasn't thinking about it. if the rattling doesn't stop i'm gonna put it back up in the air and then i'll take some pics. if u just want pics of what it looks like from the back-although maybe pointless, i'll be happy to take em.
Thanks for filling us in....and pics are always great no matter what there are, so definately take some ....what kind of clamps btw...i have a few differenet types??? The stainless steel one did you get it with the high flow cat or without??
I'm waiting for my k&n intake. its on back order
Full Stainless steel exhaust with high flow cat. I prefer the idling.. lower rumble. Thats the best i could do, it kinda sits to the right. but doesn't rub or rattle. Vids gotta wait till my frd uploads them.

your tip sits higher up than mine. i have about an inch-two inches between the tip and the bumper. i don't think mine sits at an angle though. did u make sure the tip is tight with the muffler, and then clamp it? i'm loving the exhaust. i drove like 150 miles today since i got it installed. the more i drive with it, the more i like it. i should be getting the aw header by next week at some point and then i'll do the glasspack and aw install at the same time. if i have the money, i'm also gonna try and get the zpi s-pipe. hopefully if the s-pipe will give some more gains i'll be set.
Yea, i didn't want my tip to sit too low. I tried pushing the pipe as much in as possible. Its straight facing back, just sits to the right side of the bumper. And my tip keeps tilting down after driving around. I've tighten the clamps as tight as i can. So i have to tie the tip up with a thin cable.

are u getting any rubbing from underneath the car? my exhaust is rubbing against the bottom of the car-the metal to metal rubbing sound is killing me. it's sounds like someone screeching their nails across a blackboard-only louder and more annoying.

whut up ivan-the tip is about the size of the stock exhaust's tip. maybe a little smaller-i'm not sure. i'll take a look at the stock one later on when i get home. i want to change out the tip-i just don't know exactly how u do it or if it's doable. maybe with some welding? oh yeah-ivan, i thought i drove around like a nutjob-after seeing u drive, i feel like i drive the way my grandmother does. friggin kid is doing 80 miles an hour down hempstead tpke-there's cops all over that road at night.

i can't figure out why i'm getting this damn rubbing sound. i gotta put the car back on a lift and take a look at this thing. it's driving me crazy and sounds like crap.
i have a dc sport headers, zpi s-pipe, and i did custom mandrel bent from s-pipe back. i took off the cat and put a magnaflow resinator i feel like i lost a good amount of torque. any of you guys have this problem? i might have to put a high flow cat or it could just be my imagination i need to race some people in order to be 100% sure.

i don't think i lost any torque-i probably gained some. could it be possible u lost some low end torque due to the header or resonator? or do u think u've lost torque across the entire rpm band? i have the high flow cat as well, i don't know if that makes a difference. i'm not sure if this is right, but i've heard people say that a resonator would make u lose some torque or even hp because of the change in backpressure. less backpressure would make u lose low end power. by putting in a high flow cat u can correct for that at least a little bit. i don't know if that's exactly right, or if i reversed the backpressure part, but i think it's right.
