Default my new scion! and one other thing to add about the new hu...

hooray! finally got my scion!

also, i mentioned in this post that the new 2006 has the speed wire ran to the new hu. i didn't think it would actually be used for anything unless you had an eclipse head unit with gps, but i noticed yesterday when i got my car that depending on my speed, the volume level automatically adjusted itself. so there ya go! that's what the speed wire is used for on the new 2006 head units.

Can you post a rear shot with the Lip Spoiler?

Nice btw... I'd really like to get a set of OEM fogs... I'd like the 06 HU, but I'd really only want it for the iPod ability, but I think it would be too much to get that installed as well. Will have to wait and see if anyone does any mods.

Man, isn't it funny that I was just thinking about that today? I was driving and had to keep adjusting my volume and I remembered the POS Monte Carlo I rented a while back automatically adjusted the volume (raised it at higher speeds). I actually suggested this in my Scion poll (you know, when they call you and when they mail you a letter to go take the survey online). Weird.

Congrats on your new purchase.

The auto volume leveler is cool, but gets annoying pretty quick. I've only had my tC for a week and already I turned that feature off. The reason is that it adjusts the volume too much. So when you speed up, it louder too quickly, and when you slow down it gets too soft as you come to a stop...so you end up readjusting the volume anyway. The leveler does have options for OFF/LOW/MED/HIGH, but even on low it was too sensitive, so I just turned it off. I have a feeling others will do that too.

My Blazer I traded in had the speed adjust volume and that is the ONLY thing I miss switching to my tC. I used it all the time and loved it!!! But, then again, so hard to get Scions down here, I bought an '05 w/out knowing the '06 were about to come out.
