yeah i built a wooden holster then cleaned up the edges. then sprayed it with wood coat. then bought some fabric to match the car seat then just glued it on to the wood. turned out pretty good. Its just covering my HU. theres a gap between the HU and the edges.

first, you must have wipeout: pure for your psp as it is the only usa game right now to have a browser built in.

second, go to the link i provided you above and it will walk you through on how to add another network connection to get this to work.

last, start up your wipeout: pure and go to the downloads section and select the new network connection you made.

and i use this site cos they allow you to make your own login and portal links! otherwise you just have to use what other people make. although, if you want to host your own, you can: http://www.pspfanclub.com/pspextra/tut/wipeoutmoopsguide.php

and yeah, your setup looks good. i took my psp out to my car to see what i could do. not sure if there is anything i can make that will work, but there are some window mounts and such that i might try eventually. right now i'm content in just using it as an mp3 player for my car.

yea im really sure ur the first and only tc with a psp lol but at least urs is removeable. the lexus' was galssed in..well the unit came out but there was no HU at all...really stupid (music came via the mem card in the psp which has a plug\adapter for the headphone jack)

There's actually a gap between the tip of the HU outline and the actual HU. The PSP is held on by precision cutting so its a snug fit for the PSP and the fabric i use add's more grip. Right now, its not hooked up to the speakers. I plan on drilling a hole on the earphone socket of the box and installing it as a aux input. Kinda like the ipod install people are doing except PSP.

PsP will soon have a GPS addon, coupled with the 3 1g chips and the new 4g PsP HD I picked up I now have 4g of MP3s and 2g of Movies ready to run at any time.

And yes you can do it all with an I-POD.. but you cant play Prince of Persha -Revalations, Appleseed the movie, and then play Heavy Gear as you chill out at a car show.

That with some of the new adds ons they are planing for the PsP (live Vid-Out addon) 5g flash memory cards by next year... and the new 50g PsP hard drive in the works...the PsP can and will be one of the best things to dock in your car.

About 120megs I have two movies, games, and a lot of music on one of my 1g flash cards...

WTH!! Dead Thread came back to life holy crap. Well yes it was a bored mod and who cares if its ghetto, i didnt make it to look cool. My avic does the job and i didnt want to lose the playstation effect with the psp so i dropped in a slim ps2 in my glove.
