Default Interior lighting mods governed by door switch?

Anyone know off the top of their head the easiest place to tap into the switches that register when the doors are opened or closed? I'd really like to hook up my interior lighting mods to activate when (any of) the doors open.

i realize that, what i'm asking is where is the easiest place (access-wise) to get into to one of those two points. removing my headliner isn't my idea of a good time, so can i tap into it right off the fuse panel or what? where are the wires actually at? i mean, yeah, i can go get a meter and start tracing, but i just wondered if anyone knew off the top of their head an easy place to tap.

Actually the dome light was the easiest way to tap into the
door switch.

My ICE LED UFO kit has a door option, and at first I tapped
it right off the door switch on the drivers door, only to realize
that it would only kick on with the drivers door and nothing
else.

So a coat hanger and a piece of wire later, and I'm tapped off
the dome light.

My UFO kit turns on to default colors when:

1) I open my doors or hatch

2) Unlock doors with remote entry

3) Turn on the dome light.

Super simple. As long as you aren't taxing that power line
too hard, you should be fine.

the easiest place to tap are the pin switches at the driver and passenger doors...its wide open and easy to work on.
the next easiest but much better idea is the dome light.

the best hidden place to tap is at the fuse box under the dash.

remeber the drivers door and the rest of the doors are on two diff. circuits...
if you just tap the drives door the lights won't come on by opening the other doors...
and vise versa

I believe I read in another thread that scionspecialties was having a dispute over the domain name and they'll be up and running at scionspecialties.NET in the next couple weeks.

I do the sell the fused relay with instructios and hardware for 15.00. I don't sell the kit for the tc, because it has two door triggers that need to be isolated with diodes. the kit I sell is for the xa and Xb. Pm me for details. Bill

see, now that's what i was wondering-- if the switches fed the power at the fuse box.

if i'm reading your post correctly, that is the case, right? like if i come off the door fuses for my power, that'll do it?

Emo, I have made a kit before, and becuase of the complexity of finding the two wires in bundle 40 to fifty wires it is hard.
