Just push it in, pull it out, unscrew chrome, and pop it back in. Looks much better and its a free mod.

or u can do what i did, and just paint the chrome rim black. you get the same results lol, but with out the missing holes from where the ring belongs.

i really hate the stock grill so much lol. i think i may go grill craft when i get the money

Push from the front and help clips from under the hood.

Now lose that scion badge... :lalala:

It does look better without the chrome, though.

When you take the chrome out it leavs gaps all around. Already tried it. Looked bad in person.. so put it back on. You cant see it in the pic but its there. Best bet is paint the chrome.

so if i wanna get some gutterguard to replace the grill, I just push the original out and replace with gutterguard? that easy? dont' even need to take the whole bumper out?

Yes, but if you use guttergard its real easy to make it look like ____. If you took off the bumper and you used guttergard in all four openings you could get the look your looking for. I recommend just blacking out the badge and the chrome trim around the grill.

yeah, you gotta take off the bumper to make it look good. There is a "how to" in the tech section ( I think).
