If it is clear (water), then it is normal and is from your A/C. If it is thick in substance and NOT clear in color, then take it to your dealer. Also, are any of your idiot lights on the dashboard indicating "low" levels or engine problems?

well if you turn on the front windshield defroster then yeah the a/c can come on..
for the first post.. yeah it's the a/c.. sniff it next time, it's just water.. i bet it's been hot in NJ like it's been here in michigan and you had the a/c on right? well it can leak like that for up to an hour..

I normally do my own maintenance, but I have a maintenance plan with my dealer (it's cheaper for me in the long run), so they'll handle all that stuff for the meantime. When the plan is up, I'll be doing my own maintenance after that. Besides, this car has a coolant with a 100,000 mile service interval, why would I mess with it?
My understanding is that the red (propylene glycol) coolant is less corrosive to aluminum than standard green(ethylene glycol) coolant. The green eventually starts to breakdown and change to a brown color as it corrodes the aluminum in your engine(of course this is all according to the information I have heard). When I replaced the timing chain on my '93 Toyota Pickup I switched over to red. That was at 135,000 miles and at 199,500 as of this afternoon it's still as pink as the day it went in. I'm pleased with my own personal red coolant experience and would go the same route again if ever presented with the option.
