Looking good. Keep up the good work. Make sure you get some pics when the windows are tinted. Mine are 5% rear 3 windows and 20% the rest.

I'm on H&R Race Springs. 2.0F/1.8R. It might look lower because I also have the Kenstyle bodykit on there that adds maybe an extra inch.

Dude it is lowered, 2.5 inch drop. It just so happens that I've put on the DF210 springs only 2 days before I took that pic, so the springs weren't broken in yet. But it's very low now :silly:

ToryDK87, It seems that the links you provided are part of a server script. It brings the images up when they are copied and pasted into the address bar. :eyebrow:

They will not show when you apply an IMG tag since they have no .jpg extension. You can try uploading them to photobucket or Imageshack. :wink:

why thank you for the good words. the dash is 49 pieces of silver carbon fiber and as for the toyota the symbol, i get people tellin me that it looks just like a scion xa all the time then i have to tell them it is a scion :loser: but i am puttin the toyota echo steering wheel in so it is all toyota but still a scion at heart!

that grille really adds a nice touch on your car, since its silver.. but i dont know how it would fare on my RS1 in bright red..

the eyelid, i made them myself. my buddy works at a sign shop so he gave me a bunch of silver vinyl, their are nothing but just silver vinyl!

yeah! they add a nice touch to the RS2.0 grille. you should lower that thing at least a little though!

I don't know about lowering it. I've been debating the issue. I kind of like the short stubby look and lowering it will give it a longer look. The handling is already very nuetral and I can slide it around beautifully, so I don't know that I would be picking up too much of a handling advantage either.

I'm probably going to ad a mirror to grey fade tint (mirror at the bottom) to the side windows to kind of show off the wheels better and tint the rear port hole windows and back with the same grey. Still debating that, or alternately a deep blue tint as well.

well first I drove my car up to the Vista house, then I took my camera out and snapped the shot....pretty simple....only a small bit of editing in the post processing process....thanks I hope your comment was because you liked it....

I have submitted it for the calander and I am going to be submitting it to the Scion company as well..

Well the reason I asked is cause it looks like one of those impossible shots that magazine people scout out for for weeks to get it... so instead they get lazy and throw a backdrop on and block different angles of light.
Yeah I'm skeptical. :P that's a once in a lifetime shot if pure reality.

my parents surprised me with the XALNT license plate.. my step dad loves his vanity plates :P

Tein lowering springs, windows tinted and 18" wheels... OTG back wheel spacers in the mail.. Hopefully in a month or so I will be sporting a kenstyle bodykit..

To be honest I'm not sure on the exact %? Its the darkest legal we can have here where I live (Texas).. I did not want to have any problems when it came time to have my car inspected.

And ya no troubles seeing at night, and looks plenty dark enought during the day..

yeah. I'd like to know.

They are Falken Hanabi's, the fronts are 17x7.5 with a ET 32, and the rears are 17x9 with a ET25, the rear is the only one who requires some fender rolling but other than that they are a great fit.

these things need at least 3 inch drop. an investment in coilovers makes this car soooo mean and awesome. smoother , lower , sportier all around a better car. people please. i beg of you. that extra inch lower makes a HUGE difference. and no xB's arent ok on 2.0 inch drops either . they need at least 2.5.

make it 3" on the xb......

Made it, took about 18 hours total. I'm going to measure it out when I put some dynomat in the well in the next week or two. I'll take measurments I know a lot of people want this box.

WOW! That is a really nice lookin piece of work there! I sure can't wait for those measurements! Anything would be great, even some rough guestimates... I may just jump in and tackle this sometime this month!...

Get lots of bondo (a gallon) a big bottle of super glue and a spray bottle of CA glue activator (WSuper glue speeder upper). 1 full 4x8 foot sheet of Medium density fiber board. 40 and 80 grit sand paper. Air compressor if you can, and a brad nailer. Table saw is a must, read: you must have access to a table saw to do the tire surround unless you plan on fiberglassing it. You'll have almost everything needed for this box. The perferated steel plate was $20 my cost.

I wonder how well the shark fin antennas actually work. I'm kind of skeptical of them, regardless of the fact that BMW uses them on their new vehicles. :ponder:

if i am not wrong the shark fin installed in the pic i posted above is a dummy... the owner installed an internal antenna within the car to get reception :P ...

Not exactly my car.....but it is exactly what I'm planning on doing to it. Ordered the springs today from randone (goldlines 2'' drop) and will order the rims(Mod GFO) next week at the latest.

I priced the paint job(Mike Lavallee of KillerPaint) as well, and am 99% sure I am going to bite the bullet and get the paint done as well. He's pretty much know for his flames looking like the real deal.

Wow! Some impressive xA's

I just got mine on Saturday, and because my trade in was shot, they let me have the car without installing any of my customs.. They have them ordered and will let me know so I can set up an appt to drop my car off (dealer is 45 min away) so then they'll loan me a different car while I'm having them installed.

Moonroof, cruise, alarm/keyless entry/start, Window Tint
Thats all I could afford for the time, but some of these Scions, wow!! I need to invest in some mods! lol
