With all the low offset talk, I decided to push the limit in the rear with 20mm spacers. I have 17 x 7 wheels and 215/45/17 tires, but the rear tires rub on the inside of the fender where the sheet metal is bent toward the tire. The effective offset is 20mm in the rear. I could go with smaller spacers , but I would like to stick with the 20 mm because of the looks. Is it o.k. to grind down the inner edge of the fender or any other good ideas? I would appreciate some help. :D

thats the best way

grind down the fender edge

make sure you get someone that know how to use a grinder
and dont forget to add corrosion protection to the exposed metal

and show us the wheels!
