I'm beginning to get parts for my 05 xA. For starters I just order some Tein S-Techs, followed shortly by a Progress Tech. Rear sway bar. Im debating though whether or not I should get an upper strut bar or not. I've heard that I dont really need it, and that it really doesnt do much...so any opinions? I'm also gonna start saving some money for new shocks/struts for when the stock ones blow out, which one's do you think are good? So far I havent seen much of a selection except for the TRD strut/shocks and the Tokicos, but I'm not really feeling those because the little disclaimer thing says that its for competition use and not street use, sooo...yeah. Eventually when I have enough money I'm gonna go for either HKS, Blitz, or Tein coilovers. That aside power wise I'm stuck between the K&N CAI or the Injen CAI, I've read alot about them on the board but I still don't know which one to choose. Also, can you guys give me some good options with exhausts? Any other things that I hsould look into for additional power? I'm not looking to make my little car a balls out gnar gwar hanging with STi's and Evo's and all that crap, just enough horses to get me through mountain roads fast without killing myself and fast enough to spank all the civics and accords and whatever that think they are bad ___ with their clear tail lights, tacky body kits, huge rear spoilers that dont ever get a chance to do their job becuase they wont ever go that fast anyway, and their cute little exhausts that sound like lawnmowers on crack....got a little to carried away there, but...you know what I mean.

as far as exhuast i would go wit the Blitz Nur spec, and for other power mods....let me see
i would think the light weight pully and blitz supercharger, stage 3 clutch and a short shifter with a wieghted shft knob and that should do you pretty well, but thatz just my opinion, you could always have the engine redone and a kick ___ turbo put on it, i think thatz what imma do once i make sure my cashflow is enough

Just a curiosity question about the off road use disclaimer that you saw. Did you see that somewhere about the TRD Shocks/Struts? I can't find that anywhere. Thanks.

You might want to get a header too. I've heard great things about the Megan Racing header, there is a thread on here somewhere...and it is only about $120 if I remember right, and it is supposed to be an easy install. I think there is a DIY guide in the tech section for the install. They are much cheaper than the DC Sports header.
Ground wires and that lil Weapon-R engine damper thingy might not hurt either. Ground wires are going to be around $50 and the engine damper is a lil over $100 I think.
I personally, wouldnt even bother getting a name-brand axel-back exhaust , the performance gains are not worth the $250+ price tag in my opinion, they are just for looks and sound, so I'd save the money for other stuff. To me, the xA doesnt benefit very much from exhaust upgrades, so I just got a bigger tip welded on for looks.
I would buy a strut bar also, it cant hurt any and most cost less than $100, plus they look neat-o. And also easy to install.
I have the tein s-techs and I really like them. I have had them for almost 6k miles on my car and havent had any problems.
