Default Possible to do?

Hi, just a quick question.

Is it possible to put the supercharger on a auto? I heard somewhere that turbos/superchargers are only available on manuals. Thanx!

1. Wrong section
2. Anything is possible
3. SC are usually for autos. And TC for manual
4. I would recommend a turbocharger for your manual but I rather spend the money for a turbocharger on a better car if your planning on racing.
5. Whatever floats your boat.
6. Add your IIP scion to your avatar.
7. IIP PRIDE!

Woot!
And if I can afford the Supercharger, I'll get it for my auto.

dude, let's be honest. regardless of auto or manual, the supercharger or turbo takes this motor to around 200 hp. you ain't racing racers at that level. it will be fun regardless of whether you have auto or manual. the manual folk will try to sell you that they compete at a higher level cause they shift the gears...(only if they know what they are doing) and so what ya know? viet....they aren't getting that much more; at 200 hp it's a minimal difference. i bet you would have the same fun with the auto and turbo or supercharger as they do shifting. don't let anyone dissuade you from buying a supercharger or turbo because you bought an auto. (let me clarify that if the supercharger would have put us in the 300 hp range then imo, a manual transmission becomes imperative....). at 200 hp it will still be a blast with an auto.

well if you like I would recommend a sc but you can go turbo if you want but I would say you should spend your 3k? on a charger for a different car rather then a tC .. tC being FWD would have many difficulty drifting even though it can the tC isnt a racing car (maybe it is?) but ya its whatever floats your boat.. this is only my opinion not the worlds so if you disagree go ahead and state why.. but dont bag on me its my opinion and everyone is entitled to it even if its stupid

Just a quick question. I see you posting stuff about the tC, such as asking why we like it, and you list no car. Do you own a scion? And if not, are you just negative on them? Seems that way. If I am wrong, then I appologize for asking.

Judging by all your posts...
I think someone has stick envy . There is nothing wrong with an auto in most situations, but give me the control over my tach any day. And no, lets not debate this.

Every heard of Turbo Diesel ??? lol I think it's very much possible. Although it's tricky in an auto with a turbo. You can't just punch it and except everything to take off like cake...you have to find the exact adjustments between pedal pressure and quick acceleration. If you punch it, you get hella lot of turbo lag. Hope this helps.
