no actually the picture is quite decieving from that angle the doors open out halfway and then upwards leaving you ample space to get in and out

where do you grab hold of the door to shut it from inside. the handle is so far in front that it seem to take a lot of effort to close a door like that.

alright to answer your question it is quit simple...the way they designed the hinges you put barely any effort to close the doors....they seem alot lighter as in the effects you get out of opening and closing your trunk...i can open it with one finger
