OK guys, we've got a new one for ya!

You are going to make a (very) short film composed of ten images taken with a digital camera or illustrated graphic. Imagine you are designing a flipbook, NOT a comic strip. When viewed in sequence it should have the effect of a flipbook. You can try to tell a story, or you can just have a scene from a longer story.

You MUST have a Scion in your film, whether in the background or as part of the story. I would not suggest trying to include text, as you would not have time to read them between frames.

EMAIL your final photos, numbered from one to ten, along with your ScionLife username to: admin@scionlife.com

Once I get your photos I will convert them into a small animation and place them on the site for others to see.

Questions: If we were to come up with a .gif of our own, would that be acceptable? Is there a maximum size on pics? Is ten images the limit? It'll be tough to tell a story in ten frames. I guess it's a good challenge that way.

You may come up with a GIF and post it, but I will still need the original photos emailed to me.

Does it matter if I won in May? Is it like a radio contest and I'm now excluded for like 60 days or something? Cause I'd sure like to have that strut bar... :)

This may sound like a stupid question but does there have to be a scion in EVERY frame? I have my story board all drawn up and I am ready to shoot my pics but the Scion is only in the last 4 scenes. Is this okay?

Same question as VanillaRice. Mine doesnt have them all in it. But it is a valid point of my story if that matters.

I would think it's not required in every frame. The first post says "in the background or part of the story" ... so by "part" you could assume it just has to appear at some point.

No, you don't need a Scion in EVERY frame, just somewhere in the sequence.

Hey guys, I know what Darren is looking for, and to be in contention you'll probably want to lay off the photoshop and stick to the digicam. Photoshopped animations aren't disqualified, but a real life sequence is our goal.

Well, it is supposed to be like a mini movie.... photoshopped animations of Scions turning into a toaster are entertaining... but don't really tell a story, do they?

o i c... but I loved the toaster deal LOL....dreamt that my box was a toaster and toast kept comming out of it haha.

10 frames is pretty short, but you are the boss, see mine was about a magical land where you not only drive cars but you use them as your food source. my image was taken in the morning before work and i was craving some toast. So my scion sensed that and transformed itself into a toaster and toasted me up some fresh toast. Now i just need to invent a way for it to shrink to size and we will be in business. the reason i did photoshop stuff is that i didnt think i could do a good story in 10 frames so i decided to do some morphing. But best of luck to all with valid entries!

Maybe you should give an award for story and one for still stuff, i dont know, just a thought

At this point I only have two that I feel are even in competition.... they are ones that people actually used their camera to show something happening. :) Take that is a hint and get out there this weekend!

well when i saw "illustrative graphic" i assumed that meant you could use graphic based images. I see the err in my ways now though, but thanks again for the oppurtunity and even having contests. you guys are great

Hey, do the animations have to be designed for 200x150 pixels? I'd like to do mine more like 400x500.

i did mine at the smallest setting my camara allowed ....640 by 480 at super fine ..but i still need to learn how to use it right lol..youll see when mine is posted...im not camara savey...

hey thanks for the compliments guys, i made the one of me on the ground with 30 frames and then cut it down to 10 and i was really pleased. This was a pretty cool contest and i cant wait for the next one. Thanks for everything!
